Our Practice
We are a well-established family dental practice that initially opened its doors in Centrepointe in 1995. Dr. Barta-Sima joined the practice in 2006.
In October 2014, Barta-Sima Dental Care relocated to 96 Centrepointe Drive in a new, spa-like state of the art office offering convenient free parking and wheelchair access.
Our team of highly trained and experienced dental professionals provide exceptional Family/General Dentistry to all ages, from young children to the elderly, and to anxious patients.
We are committed to quality, gentle patient care in a modern, relaxed atmosphere.
We respect our patients wishes and concerns. When you are in our dental chair, YOU are the most important person in the room. We take time to listen to your wishes and concerns, we provide you with information regarding treatment options, alternatives and possible outcomes, and we assist you in choosing the best treatment plan according to your goals, for optimal, long term oral health.
We recognize each patient as an individual, and as such, we customize our treatment and preventive approach for the maximum benefit of each of our patients.
Dr. Andreia Barta-Sima (Doctor of Dental Surgery)
We are a well established family dental practice that initially opened its doors in Centrepointe in 1995. Dr. Barta-Sima joined the practice in 2006.
Dr. Andreia Barta-Sima earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2001 from the University of Western Ontario, in London. Upon graduation she enrolled in the Dental Residency program at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she provided dental care for the medically compromised, cancer patients, emergency and trauma patients.
Dr. Andreia Barta-Sima returned to Canada in 2002. She has been working in General Dental practice in Ottawa ever since and has settled into the convenient location of Centrepointe.
Dr. Barta-Sima has also earned Master of Science degrees from the University of Quèbec in Montrèal (in 1996), and the University of Bucharest, Romania (in 1992).
Born and raised in Romania, Dr. Barta-Sima came to Canada in 1992. Other than English, she is fluent in French and Romanian. She enjoys nature, gardening, sports and long walks with her dog.
